August’s Rescue

SPIRIT

This poor boy has a heart-breaking story. When he was rescued, he was so weak from malnutrition that he fell out of the Animal Control truck when they arrived to the shelter. His stool for a week was made of rocks – meaning that is what he had been eating to survive. Now, Spirit is doing terrific at his foster home. He has gained weight, grown back his hair, and is loving playing in the pool with the other dogs. He also walks well on a leash, loves toys, and has had no accidents in the house.

July’s Rescue

LUNA

This beautiful, sable German Shepherd girl is “Luna”. She is still a puppy at 6 to 8 months, but has a very calm and gentle disposition and gets along great with other animals. She plays well and is surprisingly not rowdy for such a young girl. She is well-behaved, lies on her bed at night, is potty-trained, and eats well. Luna knows basic commands like come and sit. Walking on a leash will need consistent practice to get better.

June’s Rescue

SOONER

Sooner has had a really tough start in life….he was found abandoned in South Austin with an eye infection, hair loss, and was very underweight. He has since flourished at his foster home. With good nutrition, he has gained weight and grown a healthy coat of hair.
Sooner is house-trained, excellent on a leash, loves to go for walks, and very vocal – he will talk to you spontaneously! He is neutered, up-to-date on shots, and microchipped.
